Nature's Mace Squirrel Repellent, 40oz RTU is an all-natural, ready-to-use spray that repels squirrels, chipmunks, and raccoons from trees, garden beds, and outdoor living spaces. It comes pre-mixed, so it goes straight into a sprayer with no dilution or mixing step.

How It Works

The formula targets the animal's sense of smell, its instinctive fear response, and its sense of taste, so treated surfaces become unpleasant enough that squirrels, chipmunks, and raccoons avoid them rather than settle in. It's rain resistant and stays effective for about 7 days per application, though the label recommends reapplying weekly, or sooner after heavy rainfall, to keep it working at full strength.

Directions to Use

• For best results, apply daily for the first 7 days, since squirrels' habits are hard to break and the initial application needs to be frequent and heavy. Shake well before each use, and apply to landscaped beds, gardens, lawns, trees, shrubs, garbage cans, trash bags, and any other area where squirrels aren't wanted, avoiding heavy spraying directly on plants and grass.
• Don't apply it directly on ornamental, soft-bodied plants, and don't use it indoors or expose it to flame. Before spraying on outdoor furniture, painted surfaces, or decking, test a small area first to check for staining. As a training tip, breaking a habitual behaviour pattern may take more frequent applications at first, with the frequency easing off as the animal's behaviour changes.

Caution

Keep this product out of the reach of children. Wear protective clothing to reduce skin contact, flush eyes with water for at least 20 minutes if they come into contact with the product, and seek medical attention immediately if it's swallowed.

Container Disposal

Don't reuse the container for anything other than its intended purpose, and dispose of the empty container as required by local law. Don't discard the empty bottle or its contents in lakes, streams, or waterways.
