Many areas were hit hard by severe snowstorms this weekend.  After you have taken care of your family and home, turn your attention to your trees and shrubs.  The weight of large amounts of snow can cause many limbs and branches to bend and break, especially on smaller, weaker hedge plants like cedars.  So today while clearing your driveway and walkways, take some extra time to brush off heavy snow from your more delicate shrubs.  They will thank you come the spring!
