Known as the Japanese Dwarf Flowering Quince. Coral orange-red bloom in spring. Specimen plant or easily sheared to hedge. Very pretty as well as being tolerant of heat, cold and variable soils. Also known as Maule's Quince.

Scarification: Soak in water, let stand in water for 24 hours
Stratification: Cold stratify for 90 days
Germination: Sow 1/8 inch deep, tamp the soil, mulch the seed bed
