When choosing a location, keep in mind that the English Hawthorn has a moderate growth rate. It grows up to 20 feet in height and 20 feet in spread. It can be planted in zones 5 to 7. Prefers full sun and well-drained soil. Provide good air circulation.

Scarification: Soak in sulfuric or nitric acid for 1-2 hours and wash under cold water for 10-15 minutes, rinse 3 times
