The Jeffrey Pine is ultimately pyramidal in form and features spreading, drooping branches, reddish bark and very long pale blue green needles to 6 to 10 inches and large dark brown cones. The Jeffrey Pine can be grown with good effect as an ornamental specimen.

Scarification: Soak in water, let stand in water for 24 hours
Stratification: Cold stratify for 60 days
Germination: Sow seed 3/8 inch deep, tamp the soil, mulch the seed bed
